Frequently Asked Questions
We utilize the term “Smart Glasses” to include eyewear that is more than just for prescription and sun protection. Smart Glasses can include one or many innovative technological designs that can include Artificial Intelligence, Virtual/ Augmented/Mixed/Extended Reality, Bluetooth Connectivity, Projection Display, Sound & Audio, Online Applications, Video Appreciation, Camera Capability, Low Vision Assistance, Vision Enhancement, Communication Support, WorkPlace Instrumentation, or Navigational Aid among others.
The mission of DeliverSmartGlasses.com is to hand-select and showcase the most cutting-edge, wearable tech solutions, providing our customers with a curated collection of the latest and greatest in the industry. As time progresses, it is our hope that all forms of Smart Eyewear will find their way onto our site.
Since there are various designs of smart glasses available, it is best to research the different frame models to fill the need you are looking to fill. DeliverSmartGlasses is designed not to simply cut-and-paste the advertisements of brands, but to articulate a clear explanation of what to expect from each product. We do not want to simply be the source for your purchases, we also want to be the source for your education about the different attributes of each product.
If you already have a need for glasses to see, you will most likely require glasses with your Smart Glasses. However, some designs of smart technology have built in prescription adjustments, or may have a focal plane that matches your prescription. This is an important detail that will be shared with each product.
No. DeliverSmartGlasses.com only ships to locations within the United States.
DeliverSmartGlasses.com has a different relationship with each of the companies that they work with. In some cases, the product may be in our stock. In other instances, especially if customized prescription lenses are included in the order, the order may take as long as two weeks. Therefore, we suggest a typical shipping estimate between 5-15 days.
Frames typically come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty (since each product is made by different companies, the manufacturer warranty may differ). We will reference each product’s manufacturer warranty within the product description. In simple terms, a manufacturer warranty is intended to cover… any product that doesn’t perform its expected manufacturing intentions, that wasn’t due to damage or neglect.
Prescription lenses have a one-time thirty-day scratch warranty from the day of delivery. DeliverSmartGlasses.com will accept responsibility for any mistakes on their end with lenses, but doctor prescription errors or prescription adaptation issues are not refundable as each lens is customized to each individual.
Our Return for Refund Policy allows 7 days from the date of delivery for full frame refund minus a $15 restocking fee, given no damage or neglect has occurred to the frame. Lenses are custom made and are not refundable. If you want to make sure that you like the frame prior to purchasing lenses, simply order the lenses after you have received the frame. Remember, the frame is refundable with a $15 restocking fee, but the lenses are not refundable.
There is no proven harm to a growing child’s sensory development from utilizing smart devices “responsibly”. We condition this statement with the term “responsibly,” because anything used in access may have harmful effects. For example, playing audio too loud for prolonged time spans, as with any audio device, can harm the sense of hearing. But even in this example, most of the Smart Glasses incorporate an “open-ear” design (the ear is not covered as with earbuds or headphones), so the risk of hearing damage is lowered by comparison. Also, each parent has the right and responsibility to guide their child’s level of immersion into smart technology for proper psychological development. And keep this thought in mind… if the future of technology is expected to incorporate more and more smart glasses designs, perhaps it is beneficial for children to learn to utilize and understand these tools as they develop.
